Dean playing this amazing strat!

The Jimi Hendrix Experience played London's Saville Theatre, just before leaving for their first U.S. performances. During the final song, "Are You Experienced?", Jimi demolished his hand-painted guitar and threw it out into the audience. Jimi sacrificed his beloved guitar and history was made. A few months later he duplicated his effort at the Monteray Pop festival.
