Born and raised on the east coast, Jeff was the perfect example of an all around guy-- high school star quarterback, tennis, basketball and golf player, and All American diver on his swim team. It wasn¹t until the beginning part of his junior year was he involved in an automobile accident causing a broken neck and spinal cord injury. Hospitalization and rehabilitation consumed every day of the next six months.

Jeff returned to school and was graduated before taking on college as a wheelchair user. After his first two years of study he was accepted and transferred to Wright State University where enrolled in a new bio/engineering program dealing with spinal cord research. The program was highly acclaimed and was featured on a segment of “60 Minutes.” While participating in this promising study for SCI patients, he continued his studies that lead to a B.A. degree in psychology and business, two subjects that certainly fueled the mind of this aspiring comedy writer with plenty of material.

Jeff began writing jokes for other comedians but soon realized the material was more suited for him. Somehow he gained the courage to get on stage and try his routine on a comedy club audience. At night he would develop his craft as a comedian while, during the day, he transformed his writing ability into a copywriting position for national radio and magazines. He later wrote for and developed computer games for Micropose. The comedy bug never left Jeff and soon he performing al around the country as a comedian and speaker. His programs have been positively reviewed by students of all ages, college campuses, organization events, fund-raisers and corporate programs.
He performs in a wheelchair and is billed as a “sit down comic who’s always on a roll.” For over fifteen years, Jeff has been entertaining groups around the country. He has performed with acts such as Kevin Nealon, Drew Carey, The Grass Roots, Apollonia, Max Gail, Miss Universe, Dave Somerville. His style of comedy opens the mind of his audience allowing them to see that the disabled community also have a wacky sense of humor they want to share. He is not only funny, but inspirational.
Jeff’s direction in life encouraged him to move to Los Angeles to pursue his comedy and acting dreams. He has become a scriptwriter (film & sitcom) and contributing writer to many magazines including “ABILITY Magazine” and has published a humor book titled, “Medical Secrets Revealed.” He has recently written, produced and starred in a sitcom, GOOD SAM, that takes place in a rehabilitation hospital and is shopping the project around Hollywood. Jeff continues to tour the country as a comedian and motivational speaker and is currently starring in a play called “There’s Life In Gimp City.” This year he will be involved in producing several comedy specials, using disabled talent, for network TV.
